Nowadays, e-learning becomes more and more popular. People can achieve knowledge in almost every field without leaving home. However, there are arguments for and against online learning.
There are a lot of advantages in e-learning. Firstly, learners can work at their own pace, it`s very important. Secondly, they can study wherever they have access to a computer and Internet. Thirdly, e-learners don`t have to spend time and money to go to and from school. In addition to that, learners may select learning materials that correspond their level of knowledge and interest.
But there are some disadvantages of e-learning. For example, unmotivated learners can fall behind or leave studies. Another drawback is that students may feel isolated when ther study alone. Finally, bad Internet connections can interfere learners to achieve knowledge.
In conclusion, I think that e-learning should be a complement of classical forms of learning. It can`t replace the personal contact with a teacher and work in groups.
